About Us


Natives of Bozeman, Montana, Jim and Judy Wantulok have spent a lifetime in the wilds of Montana and the Northwestern US. Their love of the outdoors has led them to find their passion in portraying the wonders that they’ve seen through painting, drawing, photography, and video. In Sept 2022, Judy passed away, but Jim is still painting and photographing more than ever.

JIm Wantulok
Jim’s paintings capture the true essence of nature. He works in acrylic and blends his backgrounds–allowing them to read up close, yet from a distance. His loose style lends to the feeling of detail. A native of Bozeman, Montana, Jim has spent his lifetime in nature which proves invaluable to his paintings. He paints on location which adds to the spontaneity of his work. Jim’s artwork has been shown extensively in the Western United States.

Judy Wantulok
A self taught, amateur photographer Judy has spent countless hours in the field photographing while her husband, Jim, is painting. She understands the wilderness and how light plays on the surrounding landscape. Judy has been published in the Wyoming Wildlife, Montana Outdoors and Montana Magazine.
